Seaside Food Hall

CAZA built and designed a 465-seat Food Hall for one of the largest malls in the world in Cebu, Philippines, which opened in November 2015. Situated along the coast of the Cebu Strait, CAZA designed this communal space using design techniques and practices indigenous to its geographic location. The main seating areas are covered with networks of colorful PVC threads, which are organized into circular forms and honor the rich native legacy of basket weaving and knitted rattan furniture in Cebu.
