Delgado Mausoleum Breaks Ground

Our design for this mausoleum in Manila, Philippines tilts two parabolic cones at different angles to create a powerful space for refuge and contemplation. The tilting cones define a ring-shaped passage up the structure that culminates in a sanctuary overlooking the crypt. The passageway invites mourners to circumambulate the crypt, offering a powerful ritual journey characterized by the shifting spatial experience of the cones.
