CAZA designed three different cinemas for different locations of SM malls, a leading mall operator in the Philippines.
Our cinemas are conceived as urban spaces that foster collectivity in a highly-mediated environment. Because movie-going is a collective act that promises the opening-up of ourselves to other worlds, each cinema environment materializes different possibilities: nets, webs, grids, and planes unfold to suggest passages into unknown parts of our imagination.
